When I left the States, I left behind little pieces of my heritage, in safe keeping with my children. Here in Holland I consider myself as the caretaker of little pieces of my step-children's heritage. Today they are too young to really care much about these little treasures, but perhaps with time that will change. This darling liqueure set is one example of pieces entrusted to me. Originally a gift from my husband's grandmother to his mother, this piece has survived WW II and the coming of age of six children.
