Journaling reads: There are just so many reasons that I scrap, but when it all comes down to it, I know that I scrap for Kathryn and Paul. As I look through the pictures from my childhood, I can see the looks of joy or defeat on my face. I can see all of the reactions, but there are so many pictures that I don’t remember. Stories that have been lost forever. I don’t want that to happen to Sissy and Bubba, so I started a scrapbook for each of them. I try to create pages for them on the ordinary occasions as well as the extraordinary things that we do. I don’t ever want them to find that their stories have been lost along the line.
The main layout here was done with Amanda Thorderson's Walking on Sunshine. The small layouts were done with: Top - DeDe Smith's Scrappers Essentials. Bottom, from left: Maddy Fernandez (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star), Selana (Lullaby), Dea Spina (Snow in the Tropics), Spellweaver (Snow Much Fun II), DeDe Smith (Nippity I), Lynne Simmons (Boys will be Boys)
Great page! I second your thoughts. I also think that photo down the slide is just amazing.
Awesome job on the challenge page.

I must say in the year I've been here I've seen you doing a fabulous job scrapping all kinds of occasions for your kids. (and you I know I treasure our old family photo albums so much, but like you I don't know all the stories behind them and my parents don't remember them all either. Great work!!

I love the colors you used and the font for the word scrapping looks like it is embossed! Very nice! Love your journaling!
