My father is a retired Navy chef, and had to spend months at a time away from us at sea. He also never got into a lot of photographs, so memories like these are very special to me. Since I've started scrapbooking, he has been great about being more "available" for my camera. Still, it's the older photos from my childhood that make the very best layouts and bring back the very best memories. -C- 17Aug2005
