Translation of the journaling:
I got this puzzle when I was a kid. It is ten small puzzles with only two pieces each, a picture of a fruit on one piece, and the name of the fruit written on the other. Mom really thought I was too old for the puzzle, I don't recall how old I was, but mom thought it was childish. But I didn't give up, I nagged until I got it. I still thinks it looks wonderful. John liked it too, and he got it when he was about 5 years old. He was very interested in letters at that time and it was exciting to match the words with the right picture of a fruit. Since he was so interested in letters we talked about it, and Ubbe mentioned the alphabet. To show John that you could sort things in alphabetical order he showed hit by putting the pieces in order. John listened very interested and started to put the other pieces in order and proudly declared he sorted them in fruit order.
