That is amazing what you have done with the picture. Wish I knew even how to do that much.

Fantastic job, you have done it beautifully! Try using your manuel levels and curves as well. You can surround certain areas of the photo,(this keeps the alterations confined to those specific areas) and then adjust or change with colour, or other things you may want to adjust. (Photoshop)
This is such a fun part of photography and you can very easily become 'hooked' on it.
