I am curious to know what people do when they are not digi-scrapping. Do they work? What types of jobs? Even what are their favorite color combos.

I think a "How'd they do that" thread would be great.. so scrappers could ask about how a particular technique is accomplished and someone who knows could either answer or direct them to a helpful tutorial.

So many of us have kids that are active in one sport or another, dance, theater, music, etc... So, how about a thread for "what the kids are up to". A place for us to brag about their accomplishments or even ask advice about the trouble they get into.
Well, that's my idea. Not for everyone, but many of us would probably like it.

![]() How about a challenge thread (not like the regular challenges) where we can challenge eachother. Like a relay almost. First person writes "Next person shall scrap a layout with something red in it." And when someone's done that, she replies with her layout, and make a new challenge "Next person shall scrap about her favorite movie." And so on ... Not sure I explained that well

I was going to suggest something much like Paula. A place for none scrapbooking related chatter.
Also maybe a place to see if someone has seen a kit/template that you have been searching for. For instance my posting might say I'm looking for a kit that has owls. Someone might know of a kit in the store here that would fit what is needed. (I looked and didin't see anything like this. So I'm sorry if I missed it and there is). |

I like both Cindy's and Paula's suggestions. I was also thinking about different types of contest. I know someone used to do bingo and I know it's gone to just certain special times during the year. The teasure hunts were fun too. I was thinking about a blind scraplift kind of contest. I or whoever would scan through the gallery for a layout then describe it in words without showing the actual layout. At the end of the contest, you show the LO that was scraplifted. You could do a poll and let people vote for the best LO. Winner gets bragging rights and maybe a small coupon to the store - like $1 or $2 off. Nothing more and the designers would have to agree to it of course. Call it the Blind Leading the Blind or something like that. Polls get people in the forum and while they are there they hopefully will look around.
I'm kind of brain dead today as I've been getting ready for GS B-day party. But other than that I will need to think some more. |

Oh and how about a wish list granted kind of thing - designers willing of course. People post a picture and link or name and link to the kit/item they wish they had. Then at the end of a set period of time, a few wishes are granted. Maybe do it a few times a year but not every month unless the designers are willing.
