about me
Glad to Be Me!
Sometimes I wish I was someone else, but mostly I’m glad I’m ME! We all have our likes and differences as everyone can see. Some of us like to hurry, some like to take our time. Some spend all their money, some save each dime. Some are good at English; some are good at math. Some of us like showers some prefer the bath. Some of us are quiet; some of us are loud. Some of us like to be alone; some of us like a crowd. Some of us are tall; some of us are short. Some like to play an instrument, some like to play a sport. Some of us are black or brown, and some of us are white. Some of us leave the light on when we go to bed at night. All of us are special as everyone can see, You like you, and I like you, but also I like ME! |

sayings
1. The sun sings.
The heart answers. The soul listens. 2. The heart sings. The sun answers. The soul listens. 3. Although some say the word "soul" is obsolete, there is no substitute. 4. The soul is the foundation of nothingness upon which the person is built. 5. There is no dualism of body and soul. They are two views of one person. 6. In time the person dies, body and soul, except as a bell reverberates long after it is struck. 7. Outside of time, however, the soul is that part of a person that is eternal and unchanging, the same in every being that ever was and ever will be. 8. We experience the soul in the same way that we experience our thoughts and feelings. But unlike these other experiences, our experience of the soul is our window onto eternity, through which we see the essential truth, beauty, goodness, and oneness of all things. 9. Nothingness is the soul of Being. 10. That is why when we look for the soul we cannot find it. But when we eliminate all else, we find ourselves immersed in its sea. |

sayings 2
1. Romantic love is a lightning bolt. Married love is an electric current.
2. Marriage is a mirror in which one sees a reflection of oneself. 3. The source of joy, in marriage as in lovemaking, is union with another. That is why, while there may be pleasure in purchased ***, there is little joy. 4. Similarly in marriage: when love is mutual, joy bubbles over onto all of life; when it is not, nothing is untouched by sadness. 5. In a good marriage one is continuously in love, regardless of anger, hurt, or the longing to be free. The trick is to be aware of it. 6. In time, one may resent the permanence of one’s spouse almost as much as one relies on it. 7. That is why married couples bicker over trivia. For what is annoying at the moment is insufferable over a lifetime. 8. The hatred in a divorce is directly proportional to the love in the marriage, since only a strong hatred can sever a strong love and set the wounded free. 9. Marriage is a bulwark against time. For time is the measure of change, and in marriage two vow never to change. 10. In the end, of course, like the sea to a sandcastle, time sweeps over marriage, whether through death or betrayal. The bit of respite marriage affords is, however, all the Eden one needs for happiness. Or is likely to get. |

Life
~Life~
A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. (Walter Gagehot) ~~~ Accept the challenges of life so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory. As we live, so we learn. Aspire to inspire before we expire. Be careful how you live.... you could be the only Bible some people ever read. Count the night by stars, not shadows; count your life by smiles, not tears. Count your life by smiles, not tears. Count your age by friends, not years. Dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never get hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, live like there's heaven on earth. Don't dream your life, live your dreams. Don't look...you might see. Don't think...you might learn. Don't walk...you might stumble. Don't run...you might fall. Don't live....you might die. Don't subject your life on other peoples pleasures. (Taneh Palko) |

quote
Don't take life serious. It's not permanent.
Don't try too hard, the best things come when you least expect them. Embrace the mystery of all you can be. Enjoy life, there is plenty of time to be dead. Every person's life is a fairy tale written by God's fingers. (Hans Christian Andersen) |
