Question of the Day - 02 (July 28, 2012)
Olympic fever is alive and well in our house... and living in the UK has made it even more exciting - although, I am torn as to who to cheer for... USA, Britain, or Germany where we used to live... LOL!
Mostly, I just love to see the competition! But, I am curious... what's your favorite olympic sport? I am not sure I can list just one... *soccer (football) *track and field *the marathon (married to a marathon runner... so mostly I watch with him!) *the equestrian events (I was a competitor in my much younger days...even made the PanAm Game trials one year!) *gymnastics (was a competitive gymnast before I discovered horses! LOL!) and currently, my family is glued to the swimming - again, I think we just love the competition!

When I watch, I watch the gymnastics. I also love to watch the figure skating!

I love to watch the gymnastics!!! My sister was a competitive gymnast through middle and high school and I used to love to watch her, but sadly my body doesn't work that way LOL... Also enjoy watching the figure skating during the winter Olympics... but mostly the rest doesn't interest me and I don't watch much.

For me, I enjoy swimming, diving and gymnastics in the summer Olympic games.
I enjoy the swimming and diving because of the fact that I was a swimmer from the time I was a child and through high school. I know the work and dedication that those athletes have to give to their sport. I enjoy gymnastics because it is beautiful (first and foremost) and also because of the fact that it was the first sport that both of my children participated in when they were really little.

Summer ~
Gymnastics I'll watch the other stuff, but some of it is kinda boring...I do not like the girl's beach volleyball ~ probably because I've got boys in my house and I just don't like them watching girls in their bra and panties. LOL Winter ~ pretty much all of it, although my favorite is the ice skating.

AMEN to the women's beach volley ball, Tammy! I don't have any boys home anymore, but I don't want DH watching it, either!
