I am really getting into photography lately. I am finding all kinds of cool stuff around here to photograph. I have a Canon 620 but I think I want to go up a step. Can someone shed some light on a camera that's not going to totally lose me but can give me more options? Thank you!

Are you looking for a digital SLR? My sister recently bought the Canon Rebel digital SLR and she loves it. Rather pricey with the two lenses and accessories, but she said it was worth every penny.

Nikon has the D50 which is supposed to be a great beginner camera. I have the D80 which I like a lot!

I just purchased a Canon EOS XSi last month with the 18-55mm IS lens kit. I am new to Digital SLR photography so am still learning how to use it but so far have enjoyed it. I carry the manual with me everywhere in case I have a question about how to shoot something. Would love to take a course if anyone knows of one that is reasonably priced.
