December 2008 Challenge is Up!

Hi Ladies,

Here are the details for this month's challenge ...

1) Please make a layout based upon the sketch! Feel free to turn it 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, flip it, turn it into an 8.5"x11" layout, etc.

2) In order to qualify for the layout posting bonus, your layout needs to be unique (IOW, you can't "double up" on challenges, by creating only one layout).

3) You no longer need to use ONLY Digitals kits in your challenge layouts. However, at least 3 of the elements/papers in your layouts need to be from our Digitals designers OR you can use my Scrap-A-Sketch Template in conjunction with any kit in order to qualify for the prize. But . . . we really, really like it when you use our kits - LOL! Whatever elements you do use, PLEASE BE SURE TO GIVE PROPER CREDIT TO THE DESIGNERS WHO CREATED THE KITS/ELEMENTS.

3) Be sure to post a message in THIS THREAD, with a link to your layout!

I have also once again created both a 12"x12" and an 8.5"x11" "Scrap-A-Sketch" layered, template (both .PSD and .TIF files included) based on this month's sketch! You by no means have to use these templates to complete the challenge, but if you wish to, they are now available in the Digitals store:

Hi Ladies,

Sorry for the delayed commenting on your layouts and PM'ing bonuses to you this month! There was big a power surge early on New Year's day and our modem, router, and printer were damaged due to a faulty surge suppressor. Thankfully, all were very old so they would have needed replacing soon anyway. We bought a new router and printer on the 2nd, but we had to wait for our ISP (Bellsouth) to send us a new modem, and it just arrived about an hour ago. So I am FINALLY able to answer e-mails and post in the forums again! So, I'll go through the gallery now, and PM bonuses to everyone who hasn't received them yet for December. Please let me know if by later this afternoon you haven't received your bonus. Once I have all the bonuses handed out, I'll be back here to post the January sketch for you. Again, I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience!
