The Name Game ~ March 2012

Hi! Welcome back to The Name Game!

It's March already! Here's my new siggy!

Now, I challenge you to make a siggy using last month's challenge bonuses all pictured here.

If you didn't get a chance to participate in challenges last month, you can purchase the entire Floral Sentiments challenge kit in the store HERE (http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26_181&products_id=25330).

Open a blank document 12" wide and 6" high. Start with strips or shapes from background papers, add a cluster here or there, and of course, make sure your name is nice and large. Add shadows and if you like, a few words about yourself.

When you're finished, group all of the layers together and clip out all of the excess space. Here's how I do it. I merge visible and then ctrl-a, ctrl-c, ctrl-n, enter, and ctrl-v.

Resize to 600 dpi wide (or less) and save as a .png or a .jpg. Upload to The Name Game gallery (http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/galleria/showgallery.php/cat/1543). Then add your new name creation to your signature. Use the tutorial HERE (http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/category/scrapbooking-tutorials/general-tutorials/)called "Adding blinkies in your Forum/Gallery signature."

Last of all, post in this thread so we can see your new siggy right away! So it's as easy as that! You'll get this pretty new alpha designed by KatieMann for participating. Not only will you love this alpha as I'm sure you do all of Katie's designs found in her store HERE (http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=188), but we'll be using this alpha next month for this very same challenge.

I finished mine. It looks better in the gallery. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the version in the gallery. I was originally uploading it as my signature photo which needed to be 200 by 100 pixels.
