I'm Jen Maceyunas, and I currently live in Palm Bay, Florida (about 45 minutes south of Kennedy Space Ctr.) with my DH, Jason. We are both originally from the New England area ... myself from RI, and Jason from CT. We met here in FL through a mutual friend while Jason was working as a Flight Instructor @ Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach where he got his B.S., and I was in my 1st year of graduate school at U.F. (Go Gators!). We are going to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary this year in June :) While we don't have any children, we do have many fur babies. We have 15 pets in all - 3 basset hounds, a blue weimeraner, a fat orange tabby cat, 2 prairie dogs, 3 sugar gliders, a flying squirrel, a bunny, and, my personal favorite, 3 skunks ... all de-scented of course! My mother-in-law affectionately calls this the "Maceyunas Menagerie".
I actually began paper scrapping back in 2000 but, it wasn't until the end of 2004 when I received Photoshop as a Christmas gift that I found my true love -- digiscrapping. Being a computer geek at heart, I jumped right in and began completing all of the on-line Photoshop tutorials that I could find and was soon creating my own layouts and quickly thereafter my own backgrounds and embellishments. After being encouraged by a few friends, I began selling my designs in February 2005 and have loved every minute of it! Most of my layouts are of our pets or of my husband, but I also enjoy scrapping photos from vacations, family and friends, and our 12-year old nephew, Donald. While I do still enjoy paper scrapbooking for certain projects, I definitely prefer digital scrapping, because nothing beats the undo button for a perfectionist such as myself, and my husband appreciates that there's no mess to clean up anymore.
In my spare time (a girl can dream, right?), in addition to scrapping, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, playing with our pets, and spending time with my hubby.
