Digitals is happy to feature designer Tink,from March 27 - April 9. She is a digital scrapbook designer, contributes to our team kits, and lives in the UK! To learn what it is and more about her, read on for a Q & A session.

Q. Tell us about yourself and your family:
A.  Hi - my name is June but am known by all as'Tink'.  I live in the UK with my boy Jack who is 12 going on 17 (all mothers will know just what I mean - we have just entered the age of 'the grunt') and my husband Trevor.  Trevor and I met online and after 6 months decided to meet.  We have now been married for 4 years - life is good :o)

Q. How long have you been scrapbooking (paper & digital)?
A.  My neighbour first introduced me to paper scrapbooking about 10 years ago.  She had moved here from Texas and I had never heard of the craft before.  I told her she was nuts and it would never take off here in the UK - boy was I wrong!!  I have been playing with image and graphic manipulation for about 7 years and started scrapping digitally about a year ago.

Q. What is your scrapbooking/design/craft background?
A.  I don't have any professional background in design.  I have always loved 'messing' and creating.  Scrapbooking has become a passion and I am always looking for the next picture and planning the next album.

Q. What software do you use?
A.  Paint Shop Pro 9.0 & X and lotsssss of plugins :o)

Q. How many layouts do you average per month?
A.  Between 20 or 30, depending on how busy I am at work AND how often I can convince my son and husband that they would love to go have a game of golf!

Q. Why do you like to create elements/kits?
A.  I guess because I like the challenge of trying to create something that has a look of realism about it.  It also is so much cheaper than paper scrapping.

Q. How would you describe your style?
A.  I like clean, crisp lines ..... then again, I like grunge ...... hmmmm perhaps I don't have a style lol

Q. Who/what inspires you when you create?
A.  Oooooooooooh many things!  Paint charts, magazine layouts, photographs that I want to scrap, a piece of material - anything with colours or textures that catch my eye.

Q. What is the best thing about scrapbooking?
A.  The satisfied feeling when I look at something I have created and I am pleased with what I see.
