I am Lynn Griffin and I live in Europe, The Netherlands. I live near the capital city Amsterdam which is also near the coast. I am a single mum of two wonderful boys, now 16 and 18 years of age. I am a certified Labrador Breeder and 3 times a year we have a litter. I love the little babies in my house. They make such cute little noises and when the try to bark they don’t know where the sound came from LOL. Breeding is a lot of work but with the help of my sons I can do it. Labrador Breeding was the first step to designing. How? Well I had to make a website and to make it prettier I used scrap-elements and the addiction was born. First I used psp but soon I switched to PS which I still use. I started to create my own backgrounds and a little bit later I wanted to know how to make my own elements. I always liked flowers and romance, a little bit old fashioned so you can call my style vintage/heritage. When I look back my work improves. I always like my latest work best. I like the Christmaskits the best. I love the traditional reds and greens and those colors are a great inspiration to me. Digital Scrapbooking is not a common hobby in the Netherlands and it is hard to get the materials to make paperscraps, so the digital way is a great solution for me. I have visited the US twice and you can drop me off at Michaels or Hobby Lobby for at least 4-5 hours and I will enjoy myself! I used to sew, knit and chrochet, but my life is to busy to do that, so I stick to digital scrapbooking. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a nurse at the babyward, but I ended up being a secretary LOL. Now I take care of the puppies and that is almost being a nurse. When I try to relax with my sons I like to watch a show on tv. My favourite shows are legal series, LA Law and Medical Examiners. Stacey asked what is on my bucketlist. That is a hard question. Nothing special really but being rejected by my father I wish to be a good parent for my sons and to be a loving daughter, sister and aunt for my mother, brother and nephew. My family and friends are the most important to me and to share my life with them in love and peace is my greatest wish. Love, Lynn |
