We are proud to feature Digitals Designer Angie Young from Feb. 26 - March 11. Angie is a prolific designer of templates, kits, quickpages, elements and commercial use items. She has an eye for trends and a clean style. Read on to learn more about Angie.

Q. Tell us about yourself and your family:

A. I am 33 years old, and have been married for 13 years.  I have three beautiful daughters, ages (almost) 5, 10, and 13.  I enjoy music, and listen to all kinds.  My favorites would have to be pop, country, christian, and musicals.  I am a stay at home mom, and I am very blessed to have the
chance to be such an important influence in my girls' lives.

Q. How long have you been scrapbooking (paper & digital)? 

A. I have been scrapbooking for going on eight years.  I started paper scrapping, but after I stumbled
across digital scrapbooking, I gave my girls all of my paper stuff and haven't touched it since!  I love designing, and I love creating digital layouts!

Q. What is your scrapbooking/design/craft background? 

A. I have always had a passion for art, and I have always enjoyed creating.  I am self taught in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and I use them for all of my layouts and designing.

Q. How many layouts do you average per month? 

A. Lately, I have been creating at least 10 layouts per month, although some months I am more productive than others!

Q. Why do you like to create elements/kits? 

A. I have a deep passion for art, and I love my girls more than anything, so creating digital kits combines both of my loves!  It is an amazing feeling to see how other people use the things I make.  That is what I love most about art...there is no right or wrong, and there is beauty in everything if
you look for it.

Q. How would you describe your style? 

A. I do not really have a certain style.   I love so many different types of scrapbooking, and I do not ever stick to a particular style.  It depends on my mood, my inspiration, and how I am feeling at the time I am creating.

Q. Who/what inspires you when you create? 

A. I am inspired by my life story, and also by my children!

Q. What is the best thing about scrapbooking? 

A. I love that I can record all of the little things my children say and do, and I love that they will see my love for them later in their lives as they read the things I have written.
